Human Resources Manager
Part-Time Salary Hiring Range: $20.77 to $23.37 per hour

The hiring authority is a 4th Class Missouri City in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Midwest Public Risk (MPR) is assisting the City in the recruitment, screening, background check, and selection process; MPR is not the hiring authority.

The Human Resources Manager provides comprehensive HR resources management for the development and oversight of a new HR program, including recruitment, screen, background checks, and selection; employee development and evaluations; and employee discipline and record keeping. Also administers the City’s risk management programs (workers’ compensation, general liability, and property liability). Maintains positive and professional working relationships with peer HR professionals, works closely with City Clerk, Department Heads, Mayor/Board of Alderman and City staff to provide high quality, professional HR services. Part-time position only, 20-25 hours per week.

Ideal candidate has bachelor’s degree in personnel management, human resources, public administration or related field; direct human resources management experience, and at least 5 years progressively responsible experience in public-sector human resources. Must pass post-offer drug screen, physical examination, and criminal and civil background check.

This is a part-time position only and does not qualify for fringe benefits coverage.
